Windsurfing: Shoreham Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: Session time: 3.30-6.30pm Surf / Sea State: LT@5pm Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunshine :) Max Speed: Distance Covered:
A naff gusty marginal Wednesday afternoon off session. After a frustrating
BH Monday of useless cold N'lies and a missed Tuesday afternoon of WSW
sunny waveboard low-tide perfection I was keen to get out today and as it
was honking pissing-it-down SE'ly in the morning signs were promising.
However by the time I'd got off work and arrived at the beach the rain had
cleared but the wind had veered SW and dropped. Rigged 5.8 but conditions
were shite for most of the session. The wind did fill in around 5.30pm but
still not quite enough though for a really decent extended powered up
session, especially since a dodgy rip made planing on the way out very
difficult. (no probs planing when coming in though)
After a great start to the year and a good early May the tide has turned
and I seem to be either missing out on the good sessions or being
frustrated by crap conditions at the moment...ho hum...such is the way of
this glorious pastime.
